This month Lindys Stamp Gang have partnered with CSI: Colour, Stories, Inspiration and I have created a super easy layout.
When I first looked at this, I admit I was a little overwhelmed but once I broke down the elements, it was so much fun!
The Scene... I used the full colour palette ... painting the Cameo cuts with the following Lindys Stamp Gang products … Shaker – Bratwurst Brown & Oom Pah Pah Pink, Magicals – Hottie Patotti Hot Pink & Gag Me With A Spoon Gray and Aloha Avocado Spray.
Evidence ...a White background, Floral Pattern, Leaves
and Flowers, Hand Drawn looking elements
Testimony ... word Love and journaling
about the Love I have for my Grandmother,
Pop over and have a go ... its super fun and really easy!

It's been a busy couple of months and I am loving working in the Studio and having you all come and create with me!
Being a small little family based business, its been a tough slog getting started and thank you for all your patience while the building process has been happening but we are up and running and having a ball doing it!
New stock is coming inn all the time - last week all the new Dina Wakley collection came in and today I am eagerly awaiting the new Distress Oxides and New stencils and stamps from Darkroom Door! I'll update on Facebook once they arrive so keep an eye out!
I have some exciting classes and sessions coming up in the next two months ...
Here is the new schedule ... print it out and pop it on your fridge!
I've added in a few layouts and card classes as well as the ever popular Abstract Canvas class ... spots are limited in each class so make sure you call to book in.
It's time for another challenge over at Lindys Stamp Gang!
This month is is celebrating all things PINK with this gorgeous colour palette.
I decided to go for a simple but effective Scrapbook Layout using photos taken at Jessica's birthday last year.
I really enjoy going back to basics with Scrapbooking - sometimes simplicity is best ... let the photos do the talking!
I used my Cameo machine to cut out a phrase - this is just using the text tool with the letters welded together in a font I chose.
Once cut, I used the five colours from the Special Edition Pack to colour the words - using a paint brush, this was super easy to apply.
Classes are $130.00 each.
A $70 deposit is required to secure your seat.
Final payment MUST be paid by June 30th.
As I am having to keep the pricing in line with the other states, I am unable

I am beyond thrilled to be an Ambassador for Lindys Stamp Gang this year and have the most incredible year coming up with a heap of classes all around Australia and New Zealand … plus another teaching Cruise through the South Pacific in November AND starting my own business … I LOVE my busy life!
So today I want to share with you some more in depth details of my Layout created for the January Color Challenge!
This Color palette is just gorgeous and was the perfect fit for this image taken a while ago inNew Zealand of myself, the delightful Paula Cheney & the AE team. So much fun in one pic!
So here are a few easy steps to recreate this Scrapbook Page!
I started with Modeling Paste through a Stencil on flat white cardstock
I then tipped a little I’m Late I’m Late Slate, Azure Seas Asters & Tainted Love Teal into my palette for easy access
Using a round brush, I started with the lightest color first – I’m Late I’m Late Slate, and ‘puddled’ the color on my page over the stencilling. Once dry, I the used the Azure Sea Asters and repeated the process, pushing the color up against and on top of the Slate and then dried that layer.
I then added Tainted Love Teal – as this is the darkest color, I started off with a small amount but then added more and more!
It admittedly looks like a blotchy mess but keep in mind that its just the background!
I then added some splatters of each colour and popped it aside to dry. I love using die cuts on my pages and cards as they make easy embellishments and I can customise them to suit! These were cut out of 300gsm watercolor paper and then the leaves were colored with Cowabunga Copper & Fuzzy Navel Peach and the circles in Tainted Love Teal.
My title is double heat embossed using Morning Glory Azure & Twilight Blue Slate.
And my little chipboard crosses are using Cowabunga Copper.
So it’s not difficult to get a finish that looks gorgeous! Here are a few close ups of the page.
